Gregory Sze writes: So, it’s been a few weeks ever since rehearsals commenced for our upcoming production What It Means to Be Free? which is part of the T4YP IndiCine season, which will also feature I Loved You Once I Love You Not and the T4YP Sweatshop.

Anyhow, rehearsals have been coming along pretty smoothly with everyone doing their best to make sure that we have a decent show in time for the opening night. What was really unique about this process however, was the devising of the play by the ensemble members themselves. Everyone had a hand in developing the plot and sequence of events that took place. In fact, most of the dialogue was improvised then edited and written into the main script.

Personally, it was a real challenge albeit a good, positive one in that it really helped everyone to think critically and spontaneously but also making sure that it was logical.

Stay tuned for further updates! =D

Crazy@$$: Part 2

Gregory Sze writes: In case you were wondering – NO! I did NOT utter profanities on live TV this time. =p

In fact, the interview went pretty darn good except for the few complications we encountered. First of all, I reached Chris’s place late, due to the fact that the traffic police thought it would be funny to have a roadblock during morning rush hour. Nice one.

Next, I screwed up the very first line for our sketch. The opening line. Nice one to the power of two.

Other than that, I think it went well.

In case you’re wondering, make-up was more or less the same similar to NTV7’s version. Powder and a bit of blusher and you’re done!

On a different note, RTM’s studio sorta’ reminds me of a high-security prison – the kind that only exists in movies. I wanna’ go back! =D
