T4YP stands for Theatre For Young People. The young people’s theatre programme is made up of 5 distinct components. A typical T4YP Season covers a period of 6 months annually – April to September.
The T4YP Ensemble
The acting ensemble of T4YP.
T4YP Brainery
A short-term “drama school” for the T4YP Ensemble. To be held over a week every July of each year after the first T4YP production. Classes covering topics focusing on the actor’s craft will be conducted workshop & masterclass style.
T4YP Lab
The T4YP Lab (Conceptual Workshops) trains young directors, designers and writers in theatre-craft via the production of a minimum of 2 full length (min. 30-minute) plays over 4 months. Workshop performances in IndiCine followed by fully-stage performances in Pentas 2.
T4YP Sweatshop
A platform for all T4YP Ensemble members to present their own short original writing in small-scale workshop performances in IndiCine.
T4YP Hands On (2010)
T4YP Hands On (Technical Workshops) covers a broad range of technical theatre aspects through on-going, practical training.
